The Biote pellet is typically inserted into the skin near your hip area. The area will first be numbed using a mild, local anesthetic. Then, Dr. Hanna will make a tiny incision and then insert the pellet. The insertion site will be covered with a small bandage. The entire Biote procedure takes just about 15 minutes. The pain level is minimal.
